Freedom Friends Church is a non-profit entity. It is supported by the donations of the members, regular attenders and Friends at a distance. This heirloom quality quilt has been donated to Freedom Friends Church to sell for the benefit of the church.
It is Queen sized and was made in 2008.
It includes both a nine-patch and a star pattern; it has a pieced border and a matching binding. The colored fabrics are reproductions of antique patterns. The hand quilting is an intricate varied pattern and is remarkably even and tight. There are hundreds and hundreds of hours of loving women's work in this quilt.
